When NZ Football approached us to create pull-up banners for the Football Ferns, they needed impactful visual displays that would inspire and energise their women's team at training facilities. We recognised this as an opportunity to celebrate New Zealand's national women's football team through striking design that would meet the high standards expected of an elite sporting organisation.

The project began with NZ Football providing comprehensive brand guidelines, imagery, and creative direction. Our challenge was to take these elements and craft designs that would command attention and create an inspiring environment for the team. While the banners were destined for internal spaces rather than public-facing locations, maintaining a premium standard was essential to reflect the professionalism and prestige of the Football Ferns programme.

Our approach leveraged the classic black and white colours synonymous with New Zealand sport, creating bold contrast that made the designs truly striking. The high-quality photography supplied by the client became the hero of each banner, and we carefully composed layouts that allowed these powerful images to shine whilst incorporating brand elements seamlessly. The monochromatic colour palette gave us the perfect foundation to create dramatic visual impact.
